タメ口(tameguchi) casual speech (as between equals)先輩にタメ口で話すのは失礼です。

いただきます(itadakimasu) said before eating; I'll gladly accept (humble)では、遠慮なくいただきます。
つまらないものですが(tsumaranai mono desu ga) it's only a little something (said handing over a gift)つまらないものですが、どうぞ召し上がってください。
くだけた(kudaketa) casual, informal (of language)友だちへのメールなら、もっとくだけた言い方でいいよ。
かしこまった(kashikomatta) formal, stiff上司へのメールなので、少しかしこまった表現を使います。
失礼にあたる(shitsurei ni ataru) be considered rude目上の人に「ご苦労様」と言うと、失礼にあたる場合があります。
